Your Knoxville Coffee Brand

Mia Piccola started as a tiny coffee cart with a big dream: make seriously good coffee feel fun, laid-back, and approachable. Today, we’re a local Knoxville favorite for specialty lattes, dialed-in espresso, and a cozy atmosphere where people actually want to hang out.

We’re all about good vibes, high-quality drinks, and real community. Whether you’re easing into your morning, catching up with a friend, or looking for a calm spot to work, Mia Piccola gives you a place to land, breathe, and sip something you really love.

Two Knoxville Cafés, One Local Coffee Family

South Knoxville Café

Our first café — colorful, playful, and tucked into one of Knoxville’s most creative corridors. Think patio hangs, river air, and that South Knox energy everyone loves.

North Knoxville Café

Our newest spot, inside the original KBrew building. Bright, welcoming, and perfectly placed for North Knox, Old North, Happy Holler, and Broadway regulars.

Calico House Blend
from $15.00

Inspired by the scrappy yet playful nature of the street cats in Southern Italy, Calico is our first and most versatile blend. With notes of dark chocolate and stone fruit, this South American and East African blend is perfectly balanced for any brewing method, from espresso to drip coffee. You can expect a rich body, with a sweet fruity finish.

What Our Knoxville Coffee Shop Does Best

Locally Roasted Specialty Drinks

We’re serious about coffee, without taking ourselves too seriously. From classic espresso drinks to rotating specials, everything is crafted to taste as good as it looks. You’ll get a thoughtful drink, every time.

Community Work & Study Spaces

Writers, students, and remote workers love our spaces for the mix of soft background buzz and calm corners. Grab a table, open your laptop or notebook, and settle into your flow.

From TikTok to Two Knoxville Cafés

Mia Piccola’s story started online — with a cart, a camera, and a whole lot of people cheering us on. The love from our community helped us grow from videos and pop-ups to two cozy cafés that Knoxville can call its own.

Meet the Human Behind Our Coffee Shop, Nathan Kitner

With nearly a decade in specialty coffee, Nathan’s worked every part of the café life — bar shifts, menu building, design, and team leadership.

Mia Piccola is his way of bringing high-end coffee and genuine hospitality together for Knoxville.
